5-22-77 (dp3) and 5-28-77 are probably my two favorites as well.....some other goodies that haven't been mentioned (that I can think of offhand) are 2-26-77 and 9-11-73

wow first time ive heard anyone other than me mention 9-11-73. Was my favorite show for a while. excellent sugaree indeed. Also has a nice M Dew and China Rider. Although the AUD cut at the end of MD sucks!

The '80 Alaska shows are pretty good. The Sugaree wails.
Also One of my favorite tunes to jam on.
I saw a cool one with Hornsby on accordion - I think it was '89 BuckEye or something.Pretty cool!
I love a good whore tune.

Seconded.Although a few might get kinda close, nothing tops this mammoth explosion... another for 10/17/83.

Some great JGB Sugarees too, 3/1/80 stands out in my mind.

I also love the Merl Saunders uptempo swing version!

I can't help but dig the 18-minute Sugaree that opened the show from 79-05-09. It just soars on and on, the whole show was pretty energetic. The aforementioned DP 3 (and DP 10 as well) are also sweet, especially for Jerry's guitar work. But somehow I always prefer it when there is Brent with his Hammond...
