I put two buffers in my Wolfish- a Wald and a GGG Blaster "clone". They are selectable by toggle, and the Blaster has a gain pot for easy adjustment.

Beautiful guitar.

Follow-up question about 'blasters and buffers: I'd thought that while a buffer can be configured to boost (i.e., > unity gain), the 'blaster boosts without buffering. Is this incorrect?

Good catch!

Well, the word is that the Blaster does indeed act to covert a high impedance passive pickup signal to low impedance. Also, per Mica, the boosts you have in your Alembics are not Blasters, Jonathan. You got the in-house Alembic secret sauce!

Was this a kit guitar? I thought I read that somewhere. It looks awesome.
