Anyone have an idea how long Garcia's guitar cable is? I am guessing at least 40 feet?
Jerry's cable length didn't matter because his guitars put out a low impedance signal through use of an Alembic Blaster in Alligator and buffers in his later guitars. A low impedance signal will allow for lengthy cable runs without losing some of the high end as will happen with passive high impedance pickups.
