I'm looking for the best way to get a Jerry tone out of my Blues Deluxe Reissue. I play a Strat and mainly use a Wampler Tumnus and Boss SD-1 for OD, but I always feel like I'm never really getting close to a Jerry tone out of the amp. Any recommendations for getting those tones out of the deluxe?

Thanks

I agree. You need to make sure you swap out speaker for a JBL.

Most people believe that a D120 or a K120 are the preferred speakers of choice. The K120 will handle a lot more wattage, but they both sound great.

I use K120s - and yes, they are effective as a "secret sauce" -

BUT they must be broken in, and I have found that it is often necessary to play softly with the fingers with an increased amp volume, as possible - this tames brittleness.

And there is NO "secret sauce" to compensate for lack of practice, prowess, touch, and phrasing - the majority of the "magic" is still in the fingers......

There is no such thing as a secret sauce:
guitar woods
scale length
strings
pickups
buffer
OBEL
preamp
poweramp
speaker
practice
study
stretch your skills
etc
etc
etc

all those things matter. doing one without the rest won't get you there. might still sound great though.
