What pick did Jerry use in ‘72 with Alligator?
Don’t think the Adamas graphite picks were around back then.

I'm not certain, but I read a mid-70s Jerry interview recently where he said he was using a Fender heavy pick. Don't remember if that was off a link from here or where.

I'm certainly no authority, but I also recall having read similarly in a place or two - Fender extra heavies, 1.5mm actually. They're good picks! Don't feel as heavy as other 1.5s I've played. I like the Dunlop primetone 1.5s as a middle ground.. Plenty firm, not as bright as the Adamas.
