okay whats bob doin here in this song (specifically on live versions during the intro and solo).. i know he's jammin to the E-A-E-A-E-B-A thing, but it also sounds like theres an extra chord in there, or an extension.. then over the e theres this wierd hammer on, then ovdr the A its a shiny little slide move, i can hear it dancing with jerry's lead like they are chasing eachother down the road

can anyone gimme some ideas of what positions/licks bobbys doin?

oh yeah the version on ladies and gents (1971) is a little easier to make out, but i also love the dicks picks 36 version.

Bobby plays a D between the E and the A for two quick strums.

Don't forget about the C#m that comes in a quart-note quicker.
