for gdtrfb i have come across an often played riff that can add a lot to the the song and may be useful to somebody out there...

E*
Goin down the road feeling bad (riff)
A
Goin down the road feeling bad (riff)
A E* C#
Goin down the road feeling b----a---d
E B E
Dont want to be treated this a way

A = 577655
B = x244xx
C#= x466xx
E = 022100
E* = x799xx

Riff:
---------------------------------------
---7/9--9--10--9--7--5------------
---------------------------------------
---7/9--9--9---9--7--6-------------
---------------------------------------
---------------------------------------

enjoy, im me at kevin7063 if you have any questions or comments

I hear some things differently too:

E--------------Esus4/A------E----D,D,A
Going down the road feeling bad........Going down the...

That addition of an Esus4 or A adds a nice rockabily to it.

Also, 2 quick strums of D before the is what Bobby often did. However in some versions he only hits the D once followed by a walk to the A by hitting a B (or is it C? I can't remember w/o a guitar in hand).

i agree with strumminsix....i've been playing this with the D thrown in at the last beat before moving from the E to the A, and it sounds really nice. but one question for ya:

i like the idea of a walk into the A. how do i do that if i'm playing barre chords on the 7th/5th frets? thanks for the advice!
