I feel dumb as hell asking about this, but here it goes. I just opened my mc50. Ive read about the mods, such as replacing the rca input with 1/4", and making a 1/4" output to run back to the amp. I don't have my twin as it's being serviced. I think it'd be a lot easier if I had it front of me. I am asking the following: can someone who uses an mc50 or something comparable provide a step by step instruction guide (i.e.: where does the twin preamp connect with the input on the mac, how do you shutdown the power amp of the twin, with easy reversal, and where does the output from the mc50 connect?) pictures would be super helpful. I'd experiment myself but I don't want to break my shit.

First the twin's pre amp has to be tapped, you can find the schematics with the link below. For the Mc50 I believe it is a single channel amp, the input is RCA and can be transferred to a 1/4 but also you can make a custom cable that has a 1/4 jack to a RCA. For the output, using speaker wire you need to jump whatever ohm terminal your speakers call for with the common ground terminal.(For example if your speaker is 8ohms you would connect the 8 ohm with the common ground terminal) The second link is my google drive and where you can find an example of a jumper cable for your output. The third link is a thread that is for the Mc250 but the details are very similar.
