Splitting A super distortion (physically)

I couldnt find the original thread just now, but there was a thread about physically splitting a dimarzio humbucker into two single coils for using in a strat guitar. It was ruined by the picture posting site taking down all the pics because it was basically a pictorial.

Does anyone want to redo this thread or have the original pictures to share? maybe just some written instruction? I just got this killer american standard in aztec gold that I wanna put a super distortion in but its routed for HSH.

I think this was one of the site's coolest DIY threads!

Scott Walker did that thread. Maybe reach out to him personally to see if he'll do it again?

Unfortunately you can't see the important pics because of that photobucket rule.
But here's the thread anyway.

Since Photobucket changed their deal, i removed the place where the pics would be and will try this link to my Facebook page, where there is an album that contains the exact same pics, you'll just have to click thgouht to my FB page.

If there is another solution to embed pics, please drop me a line and ill be happy to just post them here.

I wonder how it would sound with a ALnico 2 or 5 instead of the ceramic?
