E120 clone it is not. Paper surround and a smaller voice coil are two big differences.

IMO: hempopotamus and cannabix rex etc are all fine speakers but using the *green* thing to appeal to deadheads. it's marketing. The speakers may work fine in your context but clones they are not.

I have one I waited to late to return. A JBL it is not, It cannot handle the power like a JBL can. Smaller applications like a Blues Junior, although i am merely speculating , might fair better than a using an overpowered JBL.

YMMV.

I tried his take on an E120.
Terrible cone cry, and with a only 22W amplifier. Unusable.
Also, lacking the treble/presence a JBL has.
Also not very efficient compared to a D120F and K120 I compared it to.
Super nice guy though, I returned the speaker and he refunded my $$ without a hitch.
If he could solve a few problems with the speaker it might be good.

I want to state that it was my own fault, because i am late at everything, that i did not get my refund. I forgot to send the it in his time-frame listed. I spoke with him, had the ok to send it and get the refund no problem. Again, it was my fault. Personally he was great to work with!
