I was listening to the FLACs of the Furthur shows, and there's something I've wondered for a while:
What effect or combination of effects is Bobby using to get that choppy-wah'ed tone? Is it just an envelope filter? A manual wah? The rocker-controlled phase I thought I read about in an old thread?
He uses the tone throughout the song, and the best way to describe it is that everything he plays makes a "chu-WAHHHH" sound.
Sometimes I like the tone, sometimes I hate it - just curious as to how he creates it...any help?
