Hey guys...My name is Brendan Connolly and I'm a Bobby player. I learned my bobby skills from a guy named Jeff Mattson. Im sure some of you know of him . Aside from being a Jerry guy (yes at the helm of the Zen Tricksters and DSO), he also knows all the bobby goodies. And he taught me well!!!!!! In the early 90's he put me in touch with a Lead guitar player and a bass player (the two were also students of him). This core went on to become the NYC Dead Band Bears Choice, that played in the NY area from 93 till 97. I took off playing the Dead for about 20 years and about a year and a half ago was reunited with my Bass and Lead player...We went on to form a new Dead Tribute Band called , "The Dog Star". I wanted to get a new guitar for this project, and I was combing around rukind, and saw a posting for a Potential Bobby Guitar, so I got in touch with the builder his name is Anthony Coscia. He is an awesome custom guitar builder and and a real nice guy. We met i checked out the guitar and fell in love with it and I purchased the guitar on site.
