So I replaced my -1.7db Wald TPC-1 Spud Buffer with an adjustable gain buffer which I set to 10db gain (I have OBEL), but my Micro-Tron IV (red Opto-Mod) isn’t quacking quite as well/dramatically as it used to, even when I set the Tron gain to 0 or 1
I’m thinking that that’s just too much gain and it’s overloading the Tron. Has anyone else had experience with this? From what I understand, 77-78 Wolf still had the Stratoblaster gain set to 10 but the Mutron sounds so great.
