I’m reading in a lot of places the lexicon 1300 is a pretty good delay unit. Essentially the PCM42 without the modulation and feedback. Anyone have any luck with one of these? Other nice delay recommendations?

A lot of improvements have been made in the intervening years with respect to A/D and D/A conversion, etc., so unless you are looking to do predelay for reverbs or delay for speaker alignment, I'd say pass on this.
