So, i was able to land this DSR for 400$ by chance and i believe its a 73. I have questions for you knowledgeable folks on this board. I know its a twin in a head, etc. but its says 100w on the back of the chassis. so its not ultra linear? its totally stock. No mods according to the seller. Has a push pull MV pot. Is this a worthy jer tone platform? what do i need to do to it? Blackface mods? what do i do with the MV? is it a good idea to buy this?

ive read so much on this board. I learned that CS 69s with stratoblaster was a good idea for my strat from this board, so i bought all that. Currently using a JC 22 because the aluminum dust caps bring that sparkly tone. I'm within arms reach of a real amp now and i'd be honored to hear your guys opinion on what to do. Finally decided to sign up and end the usual lurking i do here everyday.
