Thanks for those dates, I'll have to check some of those out. Someone also suggested 11-26-97 to me.

everything 87-95 is worth checking out, particularly 91-94 you positively cannot go wrong.

nobody mentioned
8/27/87 Ian McLain's farm, with amazing "McGrupp", "Makisupa", "Sanity" etc
or
3/12/88 Nectar's, the first full Gamehenge suite, with running narrative

while I am generally like TS in that I prefer the really jammy stuff up to 95 (november/December 1995 may be Phish's equivalent of the GD run in May 1977) .... Howver there is a show in the Fall funk of 97 that brings the heat big time in my opinion:
12/7/97

10/31/94
Highlight: The Divided Sky
http://youtu.be/MtowGfet6vk?t=17m13s

12/29/97
Highlight: You Enjoy Myself
http://youtu.be/17vN-dogYCU?t=1h4m48s

11/17/97
Highlight: Ghost
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_FBtQUh0tE

and of course 12/31/99

Note: These shows are highlights start to finish - just thought I'd mention some performances that I particularly enjoyed when I was first getting into Phish.

Releases I'd recommend checking out:
At The Roxy CD
Clifford Ball DVD
Walnut Creek DVD
(the DWD > Mike's Song segue is fantastic)
