Soldier Field was the place where Grateful Dead made their final showing with lead member Jerry Garcia in July 1995, after decades of touring.

Garcia is a guitarist, guitarist and musician of the Grateful Dead. He died a month after the concert at Soldier Field. His departure put an end to a cultural era in which the "Deadheads" (band's fans) went along with them on musical adventures.
