Here’s a black hip hop artist who’s not only familiar with the Grateful Dead, he finds the Dead personally and artistically inspiring and analogizes his career goals to the Dead in a complimentary fashion, all while potentially introducing a whole new demographic of music fans to the Dead.
I simply cannot find it in me to react to this negatively.
