Ron Tutt, who played drums with both Elvis and with Jerry in JGB has passed at 83. I saw him a few times with Jerry.

I'm not personally familiar with Ron Tutt's playing but mourn any loss of a fellow traveler.

He’s the drummer on the first JGB album, “Cats Under the Stars”.

He also played on Compliments, Reflections, and Run For the Roses. Live, he replaced Paul Humprey in the Garcia/Saunders band in late 74 as they transitioned into Legion of Mary, and the early JGB all through 75-76-77 up until fall 77.
