Talk about the recent Tours

Hey all,

I know the Dead played Horton Field House at Illinois State University in 1978, and it's now a Dave's Picks. However, this story (below) on ISU's web site claims the band played Braden Auditorium at ISU which is in the student center and not the same venue as Horton Field House (which is an old athletic building nearby). This feels wrong, but I'm not sure. Could anyone shed light on whether they did in fact play Braden?

See #11 on the following list:

Since that's the first time I've heard it was Braden and not Horton, I'm going to assume the list of performers includes shows from Horton. I wouldn't be surprised if the Grateful Dead were set to play at Braden and it was moved for some reason. Also that page says the building was renamed Braden in 1982, so what was it called in 1978? Sorry to raise more questions than answers...

Hmm. This other online article states:

"Frank Zappa, the Grateful Dead, Barry Manilow, a Rush/Kiss double bill, and Muddy Waters were among the early visitors to what was then called Union Auditorium." (No year is given, but the auditorium opened in 1974.)

Can this be right?
