Here is my Resurrection Bolt which I affectionately call the Big Bear. I've had it for just over 8 years and it was the first custom build I ever had done. It was made to celebrate the birth of my first daughter whom I call Bear. The "big" refers to its weight which is just over 10 pounds and distinguishes it from a custom Alembic I've got which goes by Little Bear. I absolutely love this guitar. The Bolt shape has always been my favorite of all Jerry's guitars. The electronics on this are very straightforward. NO OBEL or pre-amp. Just 3 Super II's each with a separate tap, master volume and tone for the neck/bridge p'up and separate for the middle and a 5 way selector switch. If you want sustain, try 10 pounds of neck-thru guitar to get the job done!

Here are some so-so iPhone photos.

I agree and think the wood, too, is beautiful.

Real nice!! I love that bear print cover.

However, for me- my 6 pound mahogany set neck SG sustains better than my 12 pound Tiger. Go figure?
