Anyone know the bass line that accompanies the C * Dm7 C C7 transition?
I,m usually pretty good by ear but this ones driving me crazy!!

we'll it seems even the chord prog at that point seems a little off but every tab I've ever seen for this song is the same?

That would be grate! I can play the whole song except that one freakin' part that never sounds right, throws the whole thing off. Love to get it just exactly perfect!

sorry man, but theres no such thing as playing it perfect. just close enough so nobody knows your full of shit. the man who wrote it plays it right. we just play our take on it.

I think what I play is:

C B F C7
You know you bound to wind up dead

I go up an octave and play the C on the A string, 15th fret, then the 5th (G), then the octave C (G string 17th fret) (like a box arpeggio up then back down), then move it all down 1/2 step to the 14th fret (B root) and play the arpeggio there, then slide everything down to the F root (8th fret) and again with the arpeggio, and finally down to the C, playing a box arpeggio at each root.

About as good as I could do by ear...
