I know its not hard and I think I have it worked out, but would like another opinion. If playing in the key of A, I have the following (played along the 5th string)

Single notes: A - B - C# - D - C# - A - B

Does anyone play anything different? Or have any other cool licks for the song?

Thanks,
Neal

I don't know which riff you're talking about exactly (or which version), but if you're talking about the intro, then this is the way I play it - I think I heard it like this on one of the So Many Roads discs.

E|---------------------
B|-----0h2-3-2-0---3p2-
G|---2-----------2-2---
D|-2---------------2---
A|---------------------
E|---------------------

E B E
E|-0----------------------0
B|-0---------4-----------0
G|-1---------4-----------1
D|-2---------4---------2-2
A|-2-------2-2-0h2-4--2
E|-0-0h2-4-------------0

This is what ive been playing for the E to B switch or whatever, the part that goes after "Goodbye like all the rest"... anyone who could maybe elaborate on that if it needs to be thatd be great its sounds decent.
