Anyone got the time to tab out the cool riff from the chorus ( bridge ? ) ?
The more I work on it the furthur I get from it .....

I figured it out a couple of years ago, we played it a few times and it fell off the playlist. When I get home from work, I'll see if I can remember it and tab it out.

Ok, I tried dusting off the old synapses to come up with something. When I came up with a part I listened to several different recordings and got as many different ways to play the riff. I went back to the Terrapin Station recording as a starting point then added what I liked from the live versions. I was singing backup during this chorus so I found that playing in this position was easier to sing and play. I think it sounds a little edgier starting on the D to E on the 7th and 9th frets on the G string and playing in that register or the 3rd and 5th frets of the B string . . .if that makes sense.

Take this with a grain of salt, I am doing mostly from memory. If someone else out there has done a better job, I'm all ears

I don't remember what the studio version did here other than that I didn't like it nearly as much as the bend/release thing in most of the live versions

That riff aside I guess my other bugaboo is playing the slide parts.

No worries, we've been thinking about resurrecting that tune it was good to revisit it. The slide part, as far as slide parts go, isn't super tough. Mostly revolves around the A major on the 14th fret of the D, G, & B strings. Dropping the G string from 14-12-14 and the B string from 14-15-14. The solo kind of plays the melody more or less. Here's kind of what I do:
