this has always been one of my favorite dead tunes and depending on which performance you listen too, there is a different level of energy that goes into this song every time. i,ve noticed that in all of the livelyer versions, bobby says something to the effect of "hot damm" or "god damm", he wont grow old. also try playing this song using C to Am for the first three verse lines then C to D for the fourth line and then switch to Am E Am for the verse ending.
