What are some people's favorite covers of Friend? I've heard a few. Lyle Lovett does a real good one which can be found on page two of the Studio vs. Live thread, and Counting Crows did a pretty good one too. If I were any kind of decent human being I would have links to those, but, while not technologically illiterate, I'm not all that good with computers either. Sorry 'bout that.
Anyway, are there any Friend covers anyone else would like to put out there?

Love him or hate him, it's hard not to admit he makes this song his own.

Personally I like his version. I love Lyle's version to , in fact I wore out the whole rain forest CD back in the nineties.
