Thanks guys!
No updates on the guitar as of yet. The guitar has been at the finisher for a couple months and that is basically the holdup. I am hoping Matt gets it back this month and then it is just installing the hardware, wiring it up and final setup. He was blazing by on it at first but I guess the finish is the big holdup.

Here are the latest updates. She's all finished and pretty. Just needs hardware, electronics, and setup.

I got it last Thursday! I am completely over the moon with it. Matt's fit/finish/fretwork/setup is as good as it gets. I have a number of guitars but this definitely has a different feel. The 25.5" scale and 24 frets combined with the tunomatic bridge setup--it makes for a very "stout" feel with a lot of "authority" to the notes. Incredible sustain. I could go on and on but let's just say I am thrilled. I was worried about the weight but it is really only about 8 or 8.5 lbs....feels great.

I am using Fender CS69s in the neck and middle and a Fender Custom 54 in the bridge. I am really pleased with the 69s in the middle position for Jerry tone. The bridge pickup is a bit weak for this setup. I don't use the bridge much but I am thinking maybe a hotter stacked pickup might be something I put in there, just for a loud over the top lead tone. Otherwise, has the Wald buffer, OBEL, volume/tone and that is pretty much it.

here are a few short clips I made with my iphone. Going into a 74 Twin with one K120, one Jensen. Using a newer MXR Distortion+ on the Am "slip" groove thing. Getting there....

The DiMarzio SDS-1 makes an EXCELLENT choice for a bridge pickup in this configuration IMHO.

Congratulations on a beautiful guitar.
