Lol, just googled those pictures yesterday from the original thread, as I'm considering getting a strat body from warmoth to serve as a jerry platform. As I can get an existing body with the rear tremolo cavity routed but not the topside, I was contemplating getting one with a rear routed control cavity and top routing for three humbuckers, installing a schaller flat mount bridge without completing the top tremolo rout and using the control cavity for the buffer. I was searching for pictures of pickup configurations to get idea what a H-H-H configuration might look like on a strat and ran into these.

Sorry...forgot about the swimming pool route.
I like that Fishman 9v power supply. That's a cool item.

Thanks for the pointer! I sort of remembered that thread, but couldn't for the life of me figure out a search term that would pull it up. Just seeing the pictures again gave me a couple of ideas how to simplify the build.

Couldn't believe it, but warmoth put their closeout bodies on 20% off today. One swamp ash strat body with extra special quilted maple cap with rear routed controls, three humbucker routs and a battery box inbound!
