I LOVE "It Must Have Been The Roses" - one of the most beautiful songs ever written by anyone. Unfortunately, we don't have the 3 part harmonies necessary to pull it off....but MAN, I love that song.
Really, I think we should let the couple getting married decide what song they want. It's not going to be "THEIR SONG," fyi....
Frankly, I didn't realize we were even supposed to be playing a song! I was just planning on going for the wedding!
My wife & I chose, "How Sweet It Is," for our wedding song. What SHE didn't know is that I went to a recording studio & recorded myself playing all the instruments on it (guitar, vocals, keys, bass & drums) for the wedding...it came out okay...not great. AND, to be honest, I used a drum machine, as I'm not the drummer I was in 6th grade (it was my 1st instrument!).
