It is wired and comes with the clamps. The clamps have 1/4" shims on them to accommodate non-JBL speakers (which can be removed).
I thought I wanted to swap between my K120 and a Celestion V30 and this seemed like the easiest way to do it. In the end I quickly realized there isn't anything better than the K120.
