I'm a big fan of Bob's Blue Mountain. Here's one I have worked out.

CAPO 1
Code: Select all
A

          A D A
Will you stay with me, will you hold my hand
                             E A
Will you be my friend in my darkest hour
                                     D A
Though the fates may frown and the grapes may sour
         C#m Bm A
Will you be with me in my darkest hour

     F#m A
As I hold you now, I will hold you then
           D E
Though the sun goes down and the stars burn out
            F#m A
Though the bitter cup may be at your lips
        D E A
And we cannot kiss, I’ll still be your love

                      D A
Well hey, hey, hey, whatcha gonna do
     D A D E
Well you don’t wanna try to drown the thorns with flowers
          A D A
Well the flowers all fade but the thorns remain
          D A E A
Will you also stay in my darkest hour

A D A
Everywhere I go, the people say no, no, no
                                    E A
He’s bad news, born to sin, what a shame, it’s a crime
                               D A
Hear that whistle blow on the last train gone
         C#m Bm A
And if I catch that train we will both be alone

    F#m A
Far away, a bell has begun to ring
           D E
While the lions roars and the cowards cower
     F#m A
But, what care I for all these things
           D A E A
If you'll stay with me in my darkest hour

Accordian solo over verse 1 progression

A D A
In the jungle garden of my longest night
          C#m Bm A
When the capture looms and the moon shines bright
          F#m A
Will you hold me in your arms while I
      D E A
The ladder climb to the realms of light

                      D A
Well hey, hey, hey, whatcha gonna do
     D A D E
Well you don’t wanna try to drown the thorns with flowers
          A D A
Well the flowers all fade but the thorns remain
          D A E A
Will you also stay in my darkest hour
         C#m E A
