That was a tasty one indeed, however Jerry mixes up the words to the line "don't waste your breath to save your face": interestingly he sings "don't save your breath to waste your face" ...quite a Freudian slip from the master wastoid himself!

I'd recommend the 8/6/89 Cal Expo version... or was that 8/5? The Alpines were awesome that summer, but the Cal Expos -as a 3-night run- trumped them quite handily imho.

the 1/2 step did not have "accross the rio grand"

i was at this show....very cool...super dosed...

i was sitting in the upper tier, phils side, i could see right through the stage. during the 2nd set jams, i could actually see the music bouncing between the speakers at the back of the floor and the stage., my personal quadraphonic stereo.

Built to last has always been one of my favorite solos.. kick in that distortion.

I was lucky enough to have been at all the above mentioned shows.

I'm surprised that they had stopped playing it so early (Oct.89)..
