I should know this, but how do you get that swinging sound for these types of song

In Intro to Theory I think they told us that a swing beat was typically treated like an eighth note triplet, with a rest on the middle beat of the triplet. Confusing right? I never understood that, but it seems like its pretty much the same thing as an eight note and a quarter note (or a quarter and then an eighth).

So swing beat usually goes:

ba BAAAA ba BAAAA ba BAAAA
or

BAAAA ba BAAAA ba BAAAA.

But this song's a little different. For me the beat sounds like:

BAAAAA ba ba BAAAAA ba ba BAAAAA

But like this if you put it over the lyrics:

(BAAA ba ba BAAAA, ba ba BAAA ba ba BAAAA)
Shakin in the forest, what have you to fear?

If you say the word Wonder over and over eg: wonder wonder wonder wonder wonder wonder etc you are approximating a swing feel. A variation on this as per the post above is to say the word wondering over and over eg: wondering wondering wondering wondering wondering etc
