This is one of my favorite versions...absolutely ripping. Does anyone nail the roll at 7:30 that starts and ends on E...and where do you play it? How many and what notes are between those Es? It's in there back around 6:30 too but easier to hear at 7:30
Any insight would be great. Thanks so much.

This eluded me for years also. High E in 12 position Bb A G pull off on G string to home E on d string. Hard lick to master but good one for the bag.

Here it is in tabs

e|------12-12---------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------------------|
G|---------------15--14--12------------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------14---------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------------------------------|

Note that it just mirrors the E blues scale.

Sometimes he'll grab the E and B strings together at the 12th fret at the beginning of that lick, instead of just the high E. Almost a Chuck Berry-ish lick when done this way. He used sneak that one into country tunes like Big River a lot too (in A, of course).

Yeah man....here's a nice one of that riff...
Around 5:42....many repeats...

Also one of the best outro solo versions IMHO...pulls a somewhat impossible bend during the final flutter picking sequence..
