Sounds very good Matt!! Nice playing too!
Why did u decide to go with the Mosvalve vs the 2100 or maestro power section?

Thanks TeeJay! I had super fun last night. Second show with our new full time second drummer. So cool to play with a cranking rhythm section.

Thanks! I'm always tinkering. Plus stage was really tight.

This is NOT a Dead band, but a blues band that I taught some Dead tunes to - and forgive my playing, I want CONSTRUCTIVE tone criticism. Tiger guitar, Twin 100w head, single JBL K-120.

Soundboard recording of Candyman. Wow, so much to learn from hearing yourself this way (hard to song sing!). IMO, my tone is very Jerry thanks to my Maestro Twin, but in hindsight, I think I should have used just a bit more gain on my MC2100 and turned down the axe just a smidge. FYI, Jerry had his axe volume set to about 5, Twin volume set to about 5, and the MC2300 pumping out some nice power to move the E120s. I usually have my MC2100 set to about 11:00 and with my axe at 5 I've got good control and a bit of clipping on the clean tone. Unfortunately, in these festival situations you really have no time for a soundcheck so you just set up and go. Afterwards I noticed that my MC2100 gain was a bit lower than I wanted (9:00), so my axe was up to about 7 to get the stage volume loud enough for me to hear. Subtle differences that do ultimately effect your tone. Also, we were playing for a large tent full of cultivators and cannabis patients chilling and listening. Great audience. Cool gig. We played two sets. Cheers. MM

Sounds great and vocals sound very 'Clapton-esque'. Maybe a little Lay Down Sally in later in the set :-)

Tried out a new Maestro-modded preamp last night. Its essentially spot on to my Maestro Twin. Here are two clips. First, is the comparison in my garage, and the second is at the gig.

Nice work. Mission is fun to play, hard to sing well. Good job on both. Remind us of your rig?
