My wife and I had "If I Had The World To Give". I played Ripple solo at a friends wedding, although it wasn't the 'wedding song'.

TLEO slow and Two Souls

and Shakedown Street after all that formal shit to get everyone moving

Believe it or Not, Jack-A-Roe (why not you and me?) and Built to last are good suggestions too.

Well, thanks for that one! We actually DO "Standing On The Moon." (I'm the guitar player in the band of the bassist who started this thread)

I LOVE "It Must Have Been The Roses" - one of the most beautiful songs ever written by anyone. Unfortunately, we don't have the 3 part harmonies necessary to pull it off....but MAN, I love that song.

Really, I think we should let the couple getting married decide what song they want. It's not going to be "THEIR SONG," fyi....

Frankly, I didn't realize we were even supposed to be playing a song! I was just planning on going for the wedding!

My wife & I chose, "How Sweet It Is," for our wedding song. What SHE didn't know is that I went to a recording studio & recorded myself playing all the instruments on it (guitar, vocals, keys, bass & drums) for the wedding...it came out okay...not great. AND, to be honest, I used a drum machine, as I'm not the drummer I was in 6th grade (it was my 1st instrument!).

there is a song that Jerry sings with Edie Brickel called Wedding Day. I used to have a copy, but don't know where it is, other than that world to give
