Well this morning I searched for this again, I am a true believer of Ebay auctions being fixed at times. That being said, an item clearly not worth what it sells for will many times be reposted for sale. I have no idea that holds true in this case knowing far too well that the market drives the cost. If the demand is there like on this very rare item then the price reflects that. I am just saying it wasnt that long ago you could buy these from the manufacturer. I am almost certain that the boys got a bulk deal as they have used many of them over the years. They probaby have boxes of new ones sitting somewhere. 10 cents, now if someone here bought this then disregard.

Oh and the Yairi/Modulus that is on Ebay is not mine and it too is overpriced!

So I'm sitting here watching some Dead concerts and i noticed Jerrys strap. I have the same one in black that i bought some time in the 80's. Always loved the comfort of it. Shame they stopped making them.

The Comfort Strapp is functionally the same as the old Wand Straps they used but the Comfort Strapp is made much more durable. The old Wand straps would eventually tear at the seams. If you have back issues and/or a heavy guitar this is the strap you should be using.

I never had that problem. I've had problems with the top layer of the leather peeling off. Besides that the strap is durable
