Totally AWESOME to hear a Fender Rhodes for once at a Dead show!!. I know he used it during Help on the way. What a GREAT instrument!

see the full image here (you can see he uses a Line 6 POD amp simulator, what looks like a boss digital delay and look close to see his hidden holder for the bottle of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale! Must be nice!)

He's amazing. I used to take note that he was using a full size grand piano in Ratdog years ago, but I noticed he was using something shorter these days. Anybody know what piano he's using?

It's a Yamaha. I think it's considered a baby grand? Not sure about the size. Yamaha makes some incredible gear. They have acoustic guitars that sell for over $10,000!

He reminds me of TC more then Brent or Keith. He seems more like a color player then a soloist, even though he covers that role quite well. I'd like to hear him solo more. But he adds a lot of texture to the mix.
